Let’s show our school spirit (and our comfiest PJs!) while helping make a difference for children and families across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Code of Conduct
This year, we have introduced an updated Code of Conduct. Please make sure you review this with your child(ren): Code of Conduct- Absence / Sign-In / Sign-Out (Family)
Attendance is critical for academic and social success, as it ensures that students are actively engaged and able to fully benefit from the educational opportunities we provide. Please make sure that you sign your child in and out when arriving late or leaving early. - Extra Curricular Schedule
Baccalieu Collegiate offers extracurricular activities, including sports, drama, tutoring/study hall, DND, and more! Please check our Calendar and our Facebook page for schedules. - Rycor Forms
If you haven't already done so, please fill out Forms through Rycor for your child(ren). The easiest way to access Rycor is on a desktop device, through your PowerSchool login. If you have any issues accessing your PowerSchool, please contact the office for support. - School Allergies
Please be aware that certain foods are prohibited at school due to severe allergies. We have students who may require an EpiPen if exposed to the listed allergens. - Personal Electronic Device Policy
As per NLSchool's policy, cell phones and other similar personal devices are not to be seen during class unless permitted by the teacher for learning purposes. - Cannabis and Smoke Free Policy
Please note Baccalieu Collegiate and the District support a Tobacco, Cannabis, Smoke and Smokeless Free Policy. This policy also prohibits clothing that promotes these products. District Policy Document - Dirtbikes & ATVs
We’ve received several concerns from community members about students driving dirt bikes and ATVs recklessly. We ask parents/guardians to take time to speak with your child(ren) about the importance of road safety and the responsible use of these machines. Safe operation protects not only our students but also everyone in the community. This is not only a safety concern, but a legal one as well. - Doorways
Doorways School Counselling Program is returning to Baccalieu Collegiate. They have increased their visits to be weekly. Please see their letter, which discusses the consent to treatment for counsellors. School DoorWays Program Letter - School Pictures!
Lifetouch will be coming to Baccalieu on Monday, October 27th, for pictures. - Required Course for Athletes
