Dirtbikes & ATVs
We’ve received several concerns from community members about students driving dirt bikes and ATVs recklessly. We ask parents/guardians to take time to speak with your child(ren) about the importance of road safety and the responsible use of these machines. Safe operation protects not only our students but also everyone in the community. This is not only a safety concern, but a legal one as well.Morning Bus School Drop Off
In cases where buses arrive at school before 8:30, students will wait in the front lobby until staff supervision begins at 8:30.
Doorways
Doorways School Counselling Program is returning to Baccalieu Collegiate, beginning October 1st. They have increased their visits to be weekly. Please see their letter which discusses the consent to treatment for counsellors. School DoorWays Program Letter
EF Tour Meeting
We will be holding an EF meeting on Thursday evening, September 25, at 6:30 p.m. for parents and students involved in the EF tour to Switzerland and Italy in April. Also, we have room for one or two more grade 9-12 students who may be new to our school this year and would like to sign up. If you are interested, please see Ms. Denise Reid.
Lost & Found
Can't find something you brought to school? Check out our Lost & Found in the lobby. Still no luck? Let the office know.
Code of Conduct
Just a reminder that this year, we are introducing an updated Code of Conduct, which includes a demerit system. The intention of this system is to reduce disruptive/harmful behaviours and promote positive behaviours. Please make sure you review this with your child(ren): Code of ConductSchool Council

If you haven't already done so, please fill out the Acceptable Use of Technology, Core Digital Tools Consent, and Media Consent Forms through Rycor for your child(ren). Please make sure that you sign your child in and out when arriving late/leaving early.Truth & Reconciliation Day - Schools will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th, for National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
