But what happens when a collective trauma - like a global pandemic occurs that makes stress and emotions run sky-high? When we learn about interconnectedness and co-regulation, it becomes a superpower for parents and professionals. Understanding how adults can set the stage for learning through connection is vital right now. Lowering stressors, deepening relationships, and using co-regulation skills is a game-changer for our kids with Learning Disabilities (Specific Learning Disorders) and ADHD. It can open kids up to learning opportunities we never dreamed possible. Lester B. Pearson Scholarship - Deadline Extended to November 30th!

Each year a Level II student is selected to attend Pearson College, a United World College, in Victoria, BC. The value of the scholarship is approximately $34,000 annually and covers the cost of attending the college to complete the two- year program. This is more than just a scholarship. WorkplaceNL has launched a new Youth Safety Training Bursary Program

WorkplaceNL has launched a new Youth Safety Training Bursary Program that could be of great benefit to your students.  Open to anyone between the ages of 15-19, the bursary program covers the cost of any eligible safety related training they would like to complete (max value $350).  Examples of safety training could include first aid certification, fall protection, driver safety training, and many more.
